  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Lay the wonton wrappers flat and place the pepperoni slice on top of the open wrapper.
  3. Top with about a tablespoon of shredded cheese
  4. Roll the wonton wrapper beginning at a corner, tuck in the sides and gently finish rolling toward the remaining corner.
  5. Dab your finger in the water and wet the last corner to press and seal so the wonton stays rolled.
  6. Place the rolls into the oil, let cook for about 2 minutes and then flip and cook another 2 minutes on the opposite side. (I did them in batches about 8-10 at a time so they weren’t overcrowded.) Continue the process flipping the rolls until they’re golden on each side (about 8 minutes the most).
  7. Remove the rolls from the oil and place on a paper towel to remove any extra grease.
  8. Serve with marinara dipping sauce or enjoy alone!
