Did you know you can make hundreds of appetizers using won-ton wrappers? It wasn’t until I made the buffalo chicken wonton cups that I realized how amazing these are. You can stuff them with pretty much anything, bake or fry, and ta-da you have a quick dish.
I had leftover steak in the fridge from Christmas, so I chopped it up and made Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls. We also had leftover corned beef from Reuben sandwiches. I chopped up the corned beef, added Swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing and instantly had delicious Reuben egg rolls. Sounds pretty simple right?
My latest experiment was wonton pepperoni rolls. These were great and super yummy. No surprise there, they’re fried which automatically qualifies them to be amazing. These pepperoni rolls remind me of a mozzarella sticks because they’re crispy and cheesy. The wontons are pre-cut small making them bite size and a perfect appetizer. Try adding a side of marinara sauce to dip these in for more fun!
