If you’re from Iowa or are familiar with the area, you probably had Casey’s pizza before. The first time visiting my husband’s grandparents in Iowa, I was surprised when they said we were ordering pizza from the local gas station. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit turned off by the thought that my food was being made by the same person who pumped gas. Let’s just say, you can’t judge a book by its cover. Casey’s pizza is outstanding and their breakfast pizza isn’t too bad either. Erik raves about Casey’s breakfast pizza so I thought I’d try making my own. I also opted out of adding Velveta liquid cheese to save us both a few calories.
