Now that my secret is out, it shouldn’t be a surprise to you that my first recipe from “Mastering the Art of French Cooking” was a potato recipe. I stumbled upon Julia Child’s scalloped potatoes and realized they were something I’ve never tried making before. I followed her recipe as a guideline and made a few modifications of my own….
