If you’ve been eating the same PB&J sandwich since you were 4 years old, or if you’re tired of the usual turkey & cheese on wheat- take a shot at my favorite lunch time recipe. The cucumber in this sandwich is refreshing as the hummus is delicious, it’s the perfect combination to fuel your day.
- 2 slices of bread (I used Food for Life’s Genesis 1:29– Sprouted Whole Grain & Seed Bread. I love this because it’s all natural and organic ingredients)
- Oven Roasted Turkey Breast- no nitrates added, reduced sodium
- 5-8 thin slices of cucumber
- ¼ avocado- sliced
- Cedar’s Everything Hommus
- Organic girl greens
I don’t think you need directions on how to make a sandwich but I will leave you with one tip—toast your bread!!
